Filing a claim has never been easier with CarGuard’s streamlined process. Just follow these simple steps to get you back on the road! Please review our easy step-by-step guide on how to file your claims.

If you have an issue with your Vehicle Protection Plan, please contact the seller of your contract. This information can be found on the declaration page of your contract. You will not be able to file your claim without a certified dealership or your repair facility. Claims cannot be filed by you directly.

If you do not have your contract, please call us at (888) 907-0870.

have your dealership or repair facility call us.

To start the claim process, your dealership or repair facility should call us at (888) 907-0870. Claims can ONLY be filed by the facility repairing your vehicle. Claims cannot be filed by you directly.

2.

your dealership or repair facility will submit an estimate. 

We will ask your dealership or repair facility to send us an estimate showing what is wrong with your vehicle and what needs to be repaired or replaced.

3.

we review the estimate. 

Our friendly, US-based adjusters review the estimate with the dealership or repair facility and go over each part to review coverage and authorize the repair.

4.

we authorize the repair. 

Once the claim is approved, we authorize the repair and the repair work begins.

5.

once complete, we pay the bill! 

It’s that easy! Once all the work is complete, we pay the dealership or repair facility directly, so you don’t have to. You are only responsible for your deductible (if you have one).
